All BMW Z4 have in series safety equipment: Beside ABS including brake assistant and CBC (Cornering Brake control) pretensioner and belt load limiter, ESP with ASR are present. Furthermore four Airbags (driver/front seat passengers and two sideairbags). The dynamic stop light indicates, how strongly the vehicle is braked. In the case of an emergency braking the brake light is flashing headed for and switched on shortly before vehicle stop the warning flashing. To the protection with an estimate two being certain overroll bars are blocked behind the head restraints.

The result of this discussion was to merge. Sincerely, SamBlob (talk) 23:12, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'll start this off. I'm against the proposed merging of BMW Zagato Coupe and BMW Zagato Roadster into BMW Z4 (E89). I think, instead, we should have a little section called "Special Variants" (or something like that) with a "Main Article" link at the top. Thoughts on this? The BMW Zagato Coupe article was up for deletion, so I think merging would be preferable than losing the article entirely, andwill work well with LatestAutos suggestion of special variants... Warren (talk) 09:15, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge or delete (a one-off show car isn't going to grow or be that notable - more of a news item than encyclopaedic entry, so either would be ok) - I would have thought the scope of Zagato is more appropriate than the BMW articles (of the uncustomised car)....or, are these cars officially BMW? • Merge. Very few one-off concepts merit their own article. I think at this point it would be better to have a section under either BMW Z4 (E89) or Zagato, although I think this article is best. If the content about the vehicle grows to a size because of additional references and notability, then it can be split off into its own article again. Merging may be the best way to save the content. And BMW and Zagato "worked in close collaboration to create" the vehicle (according to the Pebble Beach Concours program), so that probably makes it officially BMW. 72Dino (talk) 14:21, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You may want to review Wikipedia:Merging before doing anything. 72Dino (talk) 19:05, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, Wikipedia doesn't make things easy...I've reverted everything. Someone else can have a go. -LatestAutos talk 19:27, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
